Better way of working policy for Vodafone

According to Jennifer Hayes, Head of Talent & Development at Vodafone, flexible working can help boost workplace pride.

Vodafone operate a ‘better way of working’ corporate social responsibility policy which states that employees are allowed to work either in the HQ in Newbury or from any other location remotely. According to their website, ‘more than 75% of employees said flexible working boosts their job satisfaction’. 

Hayes stated that, ‘The customer must come first in everything we do, so by flexible location we mean our employees can work from a customer site – it could be from another of our offices around the UK, or it could be working from home.’
