Name-blind CV introduced to combat discrimination in recruitment

David Cameron stated in his conference speech that “I want us to end discrimination and finish the fight for real equality in our country today”. Therefore, he has announced that private and public sector employers in the UK have agreed to recruit their graduates on a name-blind basis.
Dianah Worman, Diversity Advisor for the CIPD stated, “Apprenticeships is another area where this can and should be applied”.
