Majority of quality jobs do not offer flexible working, according to study

According to a study by the Joseph Rowntree Foundation, just 10% of ‘quality’ jobs offer flexible working opportunities. The research was carried out on parents, disabled and older people, in which 47% stated they would like the opportunity to work flexibly.

A ‘quality’ job was deemed as offering a full-time annual salary of £19,500. The survey found that employers miss out on a staggering 1.9million qualified candidates due to a lack of flexible working.
