GDPR Planning & Preparation Conference for Employers (7th Edition) London

Date Thursday 02 November 2017
Venue Holiday Inn London Kensington Forum, London SW7 4DN

“The most important change in data privacy law in twenty years”

With our first six GDPR conferences having sold out, we are happy to confirm that we will be running the 7th Edition of this conference in London on the 2nd November 2017.

Despite Brexit results, the UK government has announced that GDPR implementations will go ahead in May 2018.

As a regulation rather than a directive, it will be directly applicable without additional national legislation. All businesses will be effected by the most important change in data privacy law for twenty years and there is an urgent need for employers and HR professionals to start preparing now.

This event will focus on the impact of GDPR on employers and the HR function (looking specifically at employee data and the responsibilities of those who handle it, including auditing third party processors), featuring contributions from leading legal experts in data protection and compliance; representatives from the ICO and government and contributions from practitioners.

Delegates will understand and analyse the implications to their organisations and what their obligations will be, equipping them with the tools to meet the requirement of the GDPR by successfully preparing for the changes.

Why attend this crucial conference?:
