A survey of security chiefs at FTSE 350 and Fortune 500 companies by international law firm Paul Hastings has found that over half of companies across the UK (and US) will not be ready for the GDPR by the May 25th deadline. Despite over 90% saying they were "on track" with their GDPR compliance, experts warn that implementation efforts have been woefully under-resourced and underestimated. Many are still only now waking up to requirements.

With a matter of weeks until the May 2018 deadline, many employers have already made great headway with their GDPR readiness, but are still needing to consolidate and finalise their preparations. For those who have barely begun, knowing which fires to fight first will be essential.

This 'GDPR Pre-Deadline Updates and Checks for Employers' event follows 10 sold-out 'GDPR Planning & Preparation for Employers' conferences which saw hundreds of senior-level decision makes from large public and private organisations being equipped with sound GDPR knowledge and guidance to achieve compliance. We are proud to have built a fantastic network of the highest calibre legal, data privacy and compliance professionals, and consultants in this space; with engaging case studies and practical contributions from practitioners.

This event will ensure delegates will maximise the little time left to demonstrate compliance by 25th May, with an essential checklist of the crucial focus areas, dispelling myths along the way.
