More Britons find work

According to a survey carried out by the Recruitment and Employment Federation in February 2015, the number of British citizens finding work through recruitment agencies has increased considerably over the last few months.

The results of the study suggest that "Recruiters are reporting talent shortages across the economy as businesses expand in response to increasing demand. This is a major challenge for employers. However, those seeking work are feeling the benefit," according to Kevin Green, Chief Executive at REC.

Also, an increase in wages was reported which suggest that Britain may be about to turn a corner and move further away from the financial crisis which hit the economy hard in 2007-09.

Representatives from the Recruitment and Employment Federation will be speaking at our annual Online & Multichannel Recruitment Conference which is being held in London on 29th April. Please head to our website for more information regarding the event.
