Mark Lomas over 10 years experience of successfully implementing an Diversity & Inclusion strategies and programmes across large national organisations including, the Shaw Trust, The Law Society & the BBC.
Mark has significant experience with analysis and programme development including supplier diversity auditing tools, recruitment analysis, discipline and grievance trends, training, mentoring/ development and service delivery. Mark has designed and delivered numerous workshops and consultancy sessions on topics including Unconscious Bias, Disability, Mental Health Awareness, Diversity & Inclusion & Equality Analysis/Impact Assessment training courses. Mark has a wide range of experience across all areas of D&I including supplier diversity & web accessibility. Mark's commercial experience includes successfully managing the Shaw Trust Web Accessibility team, returning them to a profitable service and expanding the service to include international clients. Mark has significant experience within the Diversity and Inclusion field and a demonstratable track record of success; winning awards and accolades for Diversity programmes under his management. Mark has recently reviewed and restructured the Diversity & Inclusion Charter which is a self assessment tool for evaluating diversity practice in the legal sector. His work at the Law Society was recently recognised by winning the 2012 ENEI Award for Inclusive Procurement Initiatives. Mark is a published author on the topic of Equality & Diversity and has experience of a number of sectors including media, legal, financial services, health, public & voluntary sectors.
