Elizabeth Wallace is a Chief People and Transformation Officer with nearly two decades’ experience across financial services, private equity and technology.

As Interim Chief People Officer at the CBI (Confederation of British Industry), she sat on the Executive Committee, reporting directly to the Board, and led the organisation’s cultural and structural response to the 2023 crisis. She implemented all 34 critical recommendations from the legal and cultural reviews, co-created new values with staff, founded an external Culture Advisory Committee, and redesigned the organisation to refocus on core markets. She also presented the people strategy at the EGM, helping rebuild confidence among the CBI’s 190,000 member businesses.
