Formulating and Implementing a Trade Union Policy
Formulating and implementing a trade unions policy: a roadmap for collaborative working
Time: 11:00 - 11:30 | FREE
When: Thursday, 14th November '24
With Labour encouraging union membership and a whole generation of HR professionals with no direct experience of tough negotiations, trade union legal reforms may leave employers at sea. We have almost thirty years of experience delivering successful training in this area and have the contacts to help you navigate some of the more challenging aspects of union policy and relations.
The New Deal for Working People has wide-ranging implications for employers, yet our research shows that over two-thirds of UK employers don’t have a union strategy.
So, what should be in it? What are the new legal parameters, and how should you be preparing right now?
We'll discuss:
- A legal update on recent developments
- Case Study: Compiling and Implementing a TU policy document
Hear expert input and advice from veterans who understand the nuances of these challenges and will help you develop a workable trade union strategy.
We are accepting questions before and during the broadcast. Please send your questions to elizabeth.smith@bfi.co.uk.
Which functions will benefit from attending
- Directors, Senior Managers, HR and Recruitment professionals, Employee and Industrial Relations, Employment Policy, Legal, Trade Union Representatives, Employment Law, Operations, Conciliation and Arbitration, Directors and Managers with industrial and employee relations responsibilities
