Understanding IR35 legislation and off-payroll working

Introduction

IR35 legislation and off-payroll working is still causing problems for organisations engaging contractors and freelance workers - the legislation is complex with punitive consequences if HMRC does not agree with your contractor assessments.

IR35 (off-payroll working) Course Overview

This workshop, includes guidance published by HMRC in December 2023. It will ensure that you have understood the fundamentals, implemented all the necessary changes; and make sure you are managing contractor relationships correctly.

Who will benefit from attendance:

The course can be adapted to suit employees new to this area with limited experience of IR35 legislation; those looking for a refresher course; to those needing to expand their expert knowledge.

HR, RESOURCING, RECRUITMENT, PAYROLL, TAX, POLICY, TALENT, LEGAL AND THOSE WITH INVOLVEMENT AND RESPONSIBILITIES WITHIN THIS AREA.

What our delegates say:

“The trainer was clearly extremely knowledgeable on a subject where we are not experts, so I certainly learned a lot from this which will hopefully stoke some engaging conversations in the business”

“Really good session!”

"Very well organised and although a long session on this it went very quickly due to the mix of topics and the excellent trainer.”
