Terms and conditions for webinar immigration subscriptions
1. Definitions & Agreement:
By subscribing to the BFI Webinar Subscription (“the Subscription”), you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. References to “you” and “your” mean the individual subscriber.
2. General:
The Subscription is an annual (365-day) subscription for individual users. It provides access to our live monthly update webinar, on-demand webinars, documentation and handouts.
3. Subscription Fee:
The fee is determined at the time of subscription booking. Introductory pricing may be offered at our discretion. Payment can be made annually in advance (“Annual Fee”) or in 12 equal monthly instalments (“Monthly Instalment Fee”).
4. Renewals:
Before the Subscription expires, we will notify you of the renewal fee.
5. Payment:
- For annual payments, a one-off annual fee will be charged at the time of booking
- For monthly payments, a direct debit will be set up to be taken monthly
6. Activation:
You will receive an email with your Access Details once payment of the Annual Fee or the first Monthly Instalment Fee has been received.
7. Misuse of Access Details:
The Subscription may be terminated if you share your Access Details with third parties without prior written consent from BFI.
8. Copyright:
All intellectual property rights in the webinar programs, materials, logos, graphics, and associated website are vested in BFI and/or our presenters. No part may be copied or reproduced without prior written consent from BFI.
9. Suspension of Service:
If you fail to pay any overdue Monthly Instalment Fee within 14 days of a written demand, your Subscription will be suspended and access terminated.
10. Technical:
It is your responsibility to ensure compatibility with our technology. BFI is not liable for technical issues arising from incompatibility or internet disruptions beyond our control.
11. Technical Support:
Email and telephone support are available from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays). We will respond to requests as soon as reasonably practicable.
12. Data Protection:
BFI is committed to protecting your personal data. We will process your personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Your data will be used solely for the purpose of managing your Subscription and providing you with access to the webinars. We will not share your data with third parties without your consent, except where required by law. You have the right to access, rectify, or delete your personal data at any time by contacting us.
13. Disclaimer:
The Subscription and all supporting materials are for training purposes only and are not a substitute for legal advice. BFI and its presenters are not responsible for any loss arising from reliance on the content. These terms do not limit liability for death or personal injury caused by BFI’s negligence.
14. Governing Law:
These conditions are subject to English law, and any disputes will be determined by the English courts.
