Introduction

Well-trained union reps play a key role in constructive employee-employer relations, especially under the Labour government who are committed to promoting workers’ rights. With professional training, reps are better equipped to advocate for workers’ rights and interests, through constructive negotiations, improving working conditions and communicating timely and complex issues to members. In addition, reps who understand employment law, negotiation tactics and grievance procedures are key in efficiently resolving disputes.

This intensive half-day training course draws on our unparalleled track record in unions training.   • Other Skills - managing casework, maintaining detailed records, and coordinating union activities.
