Managing Multiple Generations in the Workplace Training Course
Managing the Five-Generation Workforce
Time: 0930 - 1330
Cost: £275 +VAT per attendee
Location: Online
Date: Thursday 4th December
Half-day workshop
In today's unprecedented workplace, five distinct generations work side-by-side, each bringing unique perspectives, work styles, and expectations. Despite HR's best efforts, workplace stereotypes persist - Gen Z perceived as work-shy, Boomers labelled as technophobes, and post-pandemic fragmentation creating further divisions.
This practical half-day workshop moves beyond stereotypes to provide employers with evidence-based tools and strategies to understand, manage and leverage the strengths of a multigenerational workforce. Through interactive exercises, real-world scenarios and expert guidance, delegates will learn to create cohesive, productive teams that harness generational diversity as a competitive advantage.
By the end of this workshop, delegates will be able to:
- Identify the key characteristics and workplace expectations of each generation without relying on stereotypes
- Implement tailored communication strategies that resonate across generational lines
- Design mentoring and training programmes that accommodate different generational learning preferences
- Resolve generational conflict through understanding rather than assumption
- Create inclusive policies that support all generations while maintaining operational effectiveness
- Develop action plans to improve team cohesion and reduce generational friction
