Bukola's love affair with HR started in her final year of an Accounting and Management degree when she realized that she in fact did not want to become an accountant much to the dismay of her mum who wanted her to walk in her father’s footsteps. HR was the elective module in her final year and she absolutely fell in love with it and went on to do a Masters and hasn’t looked back since!
Today, Bukola is a people focused, data driven, trusted advisor, highly skilled in resolving multiple and complex challenges in fast paced organizations.
Bukola currently works as a Global HR Director working with various senior level executives/Board Members and focus on various facets of HR including Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, Reward, Diversity & Inclusion, Performance and Leadership Development.
In January 2021, Bukola co-founded a social initiative called ‘Excellerate Black Futures’ which aims to create development opportunities for young black professionals through a group talent programme as well as monthly educational and inspiration events. The community continues to grow steadily, and Bukola has since won the ‘We Are The City’ Rising Star Award for contributions to HR & Recruitment.
