Jenny has more than 20 years’ experience as an HR Director, her most recent role as an HR Director of Amey saw her lead a successful Diversity and Inclusion agenda in the construction and engineering sector for 10 years. Combined with extensive change management skills she has a full understanding of what it takes to move the dial in a variety of sectors including those where businesses are still to make diversity the focus of corporate strategy.
Taking a pan-diverse approach to inclusion Jenny is known for making an impact; she is highly experienced in defining the business case, setting the strategic direction and gaining commitment from all levels of stakeholder in order to implement robust solutions to diversity challenges. In her time at Amey she achieved gender balance at graduate intake, established an active LGBT network, introduced Disability Champions and a programme to support disabled employees and developed an apprenticeship programme to attract people from different socio-economic backgrounds.
In-house experience in managing and improving a significant Pay Gap as well as leading audits at the Clear Company on behalf of a range of clients means that Jenny has an in-depth understanding of the many underlying drivers causing barriers to inclusion. She is passionate about helping large and small organisations apply practical and authentic solutions that make a tangible difference.
