Jenny has been keen on technology ever since she was given a Sinclair ZX81 computer at the age of ten. She now has over twenty years of experience in the technology field and is currently a Project Manager in International Programming at Save the Children. She loves working for organizations that have a culture of diversity and inclusion and until March this year one of the global leadership team and co-lead for the EMEA region for Thomson Reuters Pride at Work LGBT business resource group.

Her other roles include being an Enterprise Business Systems Diversity Champion, Wellbeing Champion, Tech Diversity Champion and change agent.

She is a mentor for Apps for Good and Coder Dojo. She really believes that working in technology is a great career and wants to encourage the future generations of school children, particularly females who are still underrepresented in this field, that it is a creative, exciting and rewarding profession. Jenny co-mentored the 2014 winning ‘I’m Okay’ LGBTQ mobile application by Stratford upon Avon Girls Grammar school that is now available on the Google Play store.

Jenny is also the London City Director for Lesbians Who Tech, Co-chair of the Gay Women’s Network and an author for Gay Star News. In January 2017 Jenny was awarded LGBT Role Model of the Year by Stonewall.

Jenny is PMP and MSP Practitioner certified and am a professional member of the British Computer Society.
